Gotta Love a Good Stripe.

I'm a big big fan of stripes. Although a stripey crew neck has always been a wardrobe staple, stripes seem to be everywhere this summer- goody!

This Zara beaut is definitely going to be my next purchase, once that student loan touches base this will be mine...
And if I had the legs for it/liked my legs, I'd be in these Zara bad boys all the way from the beach to the club... but I don't, so I'll leave them for the size 8 girls out there.

Lucky for me, this Topshop number covers up the legs, lovely jubly. Another post loan purchase p'haps?

Not sure if I'll be investing in this one, also Topshop, (seem to have an odd craving for skirts at the moment, bizzare!) but I love this Jacket. I think it kills it because when I look at it I picture it on my Mum, she'd look one hot milf in it.

As you can see, I like stripes. A lot.

Double Denim.

The line between making double denim look good or bad is thin. You could end up looking like my dad...

We even match sometimes!

Dad doesn't even realise his double denim is on trend and he doesn't really look "trendy" either.
The catwalk proposes we look like this....

Which I'm not so sure about either, still seems to slighty resemble my dad, but this time looking although she's taken a tumble and her nan has patched up the knees. I prefer Alexa's style, contrasting denims, a safe way to embrace the trend, without looking like Mr Widdowson. (Love you Dad!) This is what I have and shall continue to sport, despite the catwalk trends.

Nothing Like a bit of Primarni

Like many of us, I love a good bargain and an easy place to go searching for one of those is of course, Primark. I saw this jem on Sunday, plastic weaved black number, with a slinky gold chain. Perfect for those summer nights in Ibiza, pop it across the body so my arms are free for all that waving in the air, like I just don't care...

Investment Pieces & The Shopping Fund

After [another] long absence (I blame third year uni work) I'm back!

Like many women out there, I have a fund. A shopping fund. I put a bit of money away whenever I can to save up for those investment pieces that will be fashion classics. My latest fund is for the Chanel 2.55, I have been longing for this bag for bloody ages! But due to my trip to Tokyo, the Chanel fund is back to square one. But soon I hope to hope this little beauty in my arms...

(I sound a little obsessed... I know... I am.)

And after this purchase I have already thought about my next fund, it has to be a Mulberry. I'm yearning after the Alexa bag at the moment, this could change, depending on how long it takes for me to save up that is!

Bittersweets

I love handmade jewelry, infact I would go as far to say that I have a jewelry obsession. Yes, more than bags, shoes, clothes- jewelry is my weakness. I found this New York based company, Bittersweets and I just adore the items they are selling. Unfortunately my student budget does not extend to their high price points, so for now I shall admire from afar.

This piece below is one of my personal favourites from their collection, I think out of the jewelry genre bracelets... and bangles, are my real heartache... oh but necklaces too... can't choose, so don't make me.

Winter Boots

After an absence in the blogging sphere I am aiming to get back into the swing of it. I have decided to create posts about the things I have recently purchased, as I do honestly think I have a problem when it comes to shopping, buying things I can't afford is my forte. So, here's the first post in my new resolution...

BOOTS! My new love is winter boots, this season they all seem much more interesting and creative- I want to buy them ALL!
I have attempted to restrain myself and only purchased 2 (so far- winter is not over yet!)
Firstly the military boots from Office- "not very feminine" according to my grandad, and "practical for the bad weather" was the nicest thing my dear mother could find to say about them. Even so, I love them...

Then a second pair caught my eye, spotted in the sale in House of Fraser (40%- I had to have them) I purchased them immediately, once you've seen them you'll see why...

Again, not very feminine, but I love them and reduced from £140 to £89, how could I resist?

Love for Lily

Who would have ever predicted that the star who sported converse and prom dresses would be the face of Chanel only a few years later. In fairness, Lily should have shares in Chanel after the amount of bags she has collected from the designer. Jealous, me?...
